A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. Depending on your selected rate, either a deposit of one night’s accommodation or full pre-payment will be taken at the time of reservation.

Rates are subject to change. We reserve the right to amend your room allocation should this be necessary. While every effort will be made to accommodate preferences, specific room names or numbers cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.

Check-in is available from 4.00pm on your scheduled day of arrival.

Check-out is by 11.00am on the day of departure.

Late check-out may be arranged, subject to availability, and may incur an hourly charge at the hotel’s discretion. We are happy to store your luggage should you wish to extend your day on Islay.

Cancellations within the stated cancellation period of your selected rate will be charged the full balance of the reservation. Please refer to your specific rate details for applicable terms.

Rooms secured by credit/debit card or prepayment will be held until 11.59pm on the day of arrival, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed directly with the hotel.

Failure to arrive will result in a charge of the full reservation amount.

We are a dog-friendly hotel and have several pet-friendly rooms available. Please let us know when booking if you’re bringing your four-legged companion so we can ensure the right room is allocated.

Dogs must be supervised and kept under control at all times. Any damage or disturbance to other guests will be charged to the payment card on file.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the Signature Restaurant.

We welcome children of all ages. Cots, extra beds or sofa beds can be arranged in select rooms.

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Limited parking is available close to the hotel and cannot be guaranteed. Guests may unload luggage at the main entrance before finding nearby parking.

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout Ardbeg House. Access details will be provided upon check-in.

Ardbeg House is a non-smoking property. A cleaning charge of £250 will apply if this policy is not observed.

In the event of damage or loss to the contents of your room — including stains or excessive wear to soft furnishings or flooring — we reserve the right to charge the payment card used to secure the reservation for repair or replacement costs.

A group booking is defined as six or more rooms reserved under the same name or for the same purpose.

Group reservations are subject to a deposit schedule and separate cancellation policy. Please contact our reservations team directly for group enquiries.
